March 31, 2004, Lariat passed the Therapy Dog International test to become a Registered Therapy Dog. Ken and Lariat will begin visits in the near future.

June 6, 2004 Lariat Passed the American Temperament Test put on by the American Temperament Test Society, Inc. (ATTS).

July 17, 2005 Lariat earned his Rally Novice title with Katie Griffiths handling him.

September 22, 2005 - Atlanta, GA, Dogwood Rottweiler Club - ARC Regional Specialty Stoneridge Lariat Vom Fabian took Reserve Winner's Dog

September 23, 2005 - Atlanta, GA, Lariat won Winner's Dog earning his final major! Congratulations to Ken Avant, Michael Holland and Lariat!!!
